AGRARSENSE
AGRARSENSE is a major 3-year consortium project under the Chips Joint Undertaking, focused on developing advanced microelectronics, photonics, and electronic packaging tailored for agriculture and forestry applications. Alongside these technologies, the project will also create innovative ICT solutions and data management systems to enable large-scale field demonstrations addressing real industrial challenges.
With growing concerns around food security driven by climate change, fragile supply chains, and increasing demand from a rising global population, there is an urgent need for innovative agricultural solutions. The EU-funded AGRARSENSE project brings together a diverse partnership of large enterprises, SMEs, and research and technology organizations to tackle these challenges. By developing automated agricultural tools and enhanced sensor technologies, AGRARSENSE aims to boost efficiency, safeguard value chains, and support sustainable agricultural production.
