Meco PPL
The Meco Panel Plating Line (PPL) electroplates a sub-micron layer of copper, indium, and gallium onto glass substrates to form the absorber layers of CIGS thin-film solar cells.
Electrochemical deposition offers significant advantages over vacuum deposition, including nearly 100% metal utilization, no need for vacuum conditions, a smaller footprint, and reduced facility requirements.
To advance high-efficiency CIGS solar cells via electrochemical deposition, Meco collaborates with the Solliance Initiative.
