Lab4MEMS II

Lab4MEMS II focuses on advancing Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MOEMS), which integrate MEMS technology with micro-optics to sense or manipulate optical signals through combined mechanical, optical, and electrical components.

Building on the foundation of the original Lab4MEMS project, Lab4MEMS II continues to develop a pilot production line for next-generation MEMS devices, enhanced with cutting-edge technologies such as piezoelectric and magnetic materials, as well as 3D packaging solutions.

This work aims to strengthen Europe’s position in the MEMS industry by enabling the scalable manufacturing of innovative, high-performance devices.
